We’re changing our name!
TL;DR: Our business name is changing from “Aledor” to “Tech Marketing Engine”. Moving forward, please submit all support requests to [email protected]. Any direct emails to me should be sent to [email protected].
Please be sure to share this news with anyone on your team that interacts with me or Aledor support.
Thank you!
Read on to learn about the reason for the switch in name….
As you may or may not know, I’ve been running Aledor in conjunction with another business called Tech Marketing Engine for over 5 years now.
Aledor started out as a WordPress development and training business, where I would help people figure out how to use WordPress. It’s now evolved to a full-featured website support service.
On the other hand, Tech Marketing Engine was started to help IT businesses with their online marketing, like blog posts, SEO, and social media. IT is the industry I came from, starting as a “Help Desk Analyst” and moving up through the ranks to server support, so I was comfortable offering those services to that industry as I gained more experience in online marketing.
Now, it seems, the mission of both of these businesses has started to merge into one clear vision: helping small businesses grow their business online.
Both businesses are doing this through website support and maintenance, marketing, and content. So it only makes sense, both for my sanity and for your convenience, for me to merge the companies into one!
So Aledor will be folding into the Tech Marketing Engine!
The name “Aledor” will slowly go away and you’ll be dealing with me and my team through the “Tech Marketing Engine” brand.
Here is an outline of what will be changing over the coming weeks and months:
- Support email changes from [email protected] to [email protected]. – Done!
- Invoices and subscriptions migrate to Tech Marketing Engine’s payment processor (Stripe). – Jan – Feb
- Updated website with new services available to enhance what we already do for you. – Q1
- New website support portal where you can update your billing info and view your support history. Q2
Today we’ve done Step #1, and will be in touch soon when it’s time for step #2.
In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions!
